The new year looms on the horizon and I find myself reflecting on what may come. There are some incredibly good things on the way including my graduation from college with my B.A. in English Language and Literature (Finally!). I should even graduate summa cum laude; we’ll see what this last class I am in has in store for me. I should have some time after graduation (and before graduate school starts) to finish all the household projects that need finishing and possibly even get my dog training classes finished. I plan on making time to create art the Universe is smiling on me because the Art Journal Caravan is back this year. My heart is rejoicing even if I probably won’t participate all year. This is a year of completion, it seems: Niko’s Eagle Project will finish, Joe will graduate college, and even my Wood Badge ticket should be finished in the next few months.
For all that I am looking forward to, I am thankful. The past year has had some ups and some very major downs. But I have developed as a person. I have grown stronger. This year, I will be true to myself and my calling, develop my skills, and embrace the possibilities.
